We’ve celebrated Women’s History Month in many ways over the years at Fortunoff Jewelry. Women’s and girls’ causes are extremely important to me and embedded in our DNA.

This year, we’re joining the rest of the jewelry industry in celebrating women’s growing economic power and their ability to buy jewelry for themselves – rather than waiting to be gifted with it.

#MarchIsMeMonth is the brainchild of the Women’s Jewelry Association, an organization I have championed my entire career. Another of its special hashtags – #CelebrateYou – is a reminder to women to reward themselves.

Jewelry has long been known as kind of armor we women wear to face the world. Our favorite talismanic pieces often remind us of our accomplishments, our power, our strength, and our heritage – as well as our significant relationships.
