Esther Fortunoff has served on the Board of Jewelers of America (JA), the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, and the Long Island Association, the premiere business group on Long Island. She has received numerous awards, including the Retailer Hall of Fame from National Jeweler and Retailer of the Year from the Women’s Jewelry Association. She serves on the board of the Safe Center, L.I., and is an executive in residence at Zarb School of Business.

Fortunoff, The Source — A New York Original Since 1922

For over a century, Fortunoff stores have been a cherished part of the New York experience, synonymous with quality, selection, service and value. Fortunoff distinguished itself with unique combinations of fine jewelry, home and outdoor furnishings, and a vast assortment of tabletop and gifts. A visit to Fortunoff was more than a shopping experience, it was a family outing. Parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren were welcomed by friendly, expert sales associates.

The Fortunoff family sold the business and later repurchased its name and now operates two separate businesses; Fortunoff Jewelry and Fortunoff Backyard Store.
